Summer 2020 – a lot has changed.
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to write on this site. Let’s be real, my ultimate goal was to write every single food experience that made me think …”this is the best food I’ve tasted, I need to share this with the world.”
Well, that didn’t go as planned.
Day after day, week after week, I kept on finding reasons why I wasn’t able to write what’s on my mind. Now, it’s August 26, 2020. The world is still continuing to take it one step at a time, during this COVID-19 pandemic that has taken many lives around the world since December 2019. Business, school and families have been working from home since March 2020 in the US.
So why am I starting to write now? Like many others out there, I have less time driving through traffic. I’m not sitting in my cubical for 40 hours a week and I do not have social obligations every weekend. The time feels right to just tell you what I’ve been growing in my new garden, cooking and eating.
At this point, this will be a way to express myself to the world. At some point, I’ll will continue to edit my pages with any grammatical errors. Until then, this is me writing what pops into my head instantly. My fingers are doing the “talking.”
